Hi everyone, as some of you may know I recently painted a picture in watercolour of Niagara Falls, which was from a tutorial in a Geoff Kersey step by step painting book.
I've recently been asked if I would be selling prints of this painting. The thing is though where do I stand with something like this?
What is the copyright on selling a painting or prints from a tutorial I've completed by another artist?
Do I have to seek permission from this artist or just mention that the painting is from a tutorial by this artist?
It's a tricky one and hope someone may know the answer.
Thanks in advance,
Paul :-)
