I know this is a long shot, but I would like to have the name of the artist of this painting.
With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

No signature on the front, or marks or label on the reverse? You're right, shots don't come much longer - it could do with a professional clean, which I think might bring those colours up by quite a bit; it's a professional portrait, I think; but beyond that one's just guessing. All I can say is that I like it, and it would be worth restoring for its own sake as a work of art: whether it would be commercially worth it is another matter, and almost impossible to tell without knowing a lot more.

I've done it Syd from "my account". There one of the options is "artists I am following", click on that, it will bring up a list. Then click the "unfollow" button beside the artist's name.

I may be wrong but I rather suspect that this is John's sense of humour. How many hopeful millionaires do we attract each year, asking the usual questions that we are rarely able to answer.
