Hang on Studio Wall

Hi folks. I am probably missing something, but I don't understand how the 'Studio Wall' functions. Is it a place where I can post other artists' pictures that I admire, or is it just for my own use? I.e. is it MY studio wall, or just a place I can 'hang' images  I find pleasing? Is a puzzlement! John
John, have you looked under Studio from the drop down menu?  In that section under ‘how do I use these features’ it explains the use of Studio Wall.
John, have you subscribed for Studio? If not then you can’t use it  if not then You can get a 30 day trial.
John , to quote from studio itself, it reads as if it is a bookmarking facility to save all the things you found useful, not just pictures. Studio Wall - "Hang" your favourite content from articles, product reviews, forum threads, galleries and techniques on your own inspirational mood boards.   As Gillian pointed out, if you are not a member then you can trial it free for 30 days.

John I'm a bit thick as well...
I dabbled in the Studio briefly, when I first joined, but made the mistake of opting for the monthly payment option. (The yearly is much better value). Unfortunately had to cancel every non vital expense when covid first darkened our lives, and haven’t gotten around to thinking about it again since then. What attracted it to me was being able to advertise my artwork for sale. At the time, I was not long out of quitting the ‘regular’ job and moving into gardening and painting, so was looking at all ‘modest expense’ avenues to tap into.

I’m not a studio member, but I can still advertise my work, if I want to!  I don’t understand why.  I was given free membership for a month, when it first started, but have never really used it.  But I don’t expect any kind of IT to work properly all the time. I think it would be a good idea, if we had to opt for NFS, (not for sale), assuming that every other piece of work is for sale.  Rather than the other way round.
I get flummoxed by Instagram which I have had to join to put my painting on for donating for sale for the  Ukraine.  Things pop up  and I don't really know why.   Selling on art related sites should be great but  the people who might buy don't know the sites exist .I could be wrong.
Sylvia, I've been putting my painting on, I'm still trying to get use to it. My daughter has a friend who gives me a few pointers when I'm stuck, but I don't like to bother her. You get lot's of people saying, send a pic of your art work, to promote, great, right and then they want all kind of fees. Well, I'm all for a gallery taking a proportion of sales, if something sells. The thing is, I don't put my artwork on to sell, just to show. I've tried donating work but not heard anything, so I'm waiting for my daughters friend to call again to see if I'm doing stuff right. I've come across some great art on there and even some live art sessions. It takes some getting use to, I guess and if you know someone who can help you navigate it all, ask for their help.
Send me your daughters friend please ....
Thanks for the response friends. I did subscribe yes, so I will have to get weaving. Unfortunately the eye infection I am troubled with keeps recurring, so I have done little painting recently. I have finally managed to get to a Doctor (Miracle!) to get some antibiotics, so I am hoping I shall be back painting soon. Thanks again folks John
