I unwittingly spilled most of the solvent on my leg at a painting event last night, and was able to wash myself and get changed barely 2h later! As a result of that, the affected skin area is red and slightly painful by touch, feels like a sunburn. Has this happened to anyone and how do you treat it? Would applying cream help (white Nivea) ?
Thanks!

Speak to your doctor, or ring the emergency services, having the bottle ready to read off the contents etc.
We are not qualified to offer any opinion, although you probably will get some suggestions!
But these suggestions could inadvertently make matters worse, get advice from the professional bodies!

I agree entirely with Alan - this requires medical advice, and so far as I know, none of us on the Forum is medically qualified.
Sansodor is a relatively mild solvent, and very unlikely to cause any serious, still less permanent, damage. However - we all respond differently to different substances, we can have allergies and sensitivities which make us vulnerable yet have no effect on others. That's why you need advice specific to yourself, but get the advice, don't worry about it, and don't scrub at it: an initial treatment with cool water will probably do more good than anything else - so yes, I've given non-medical advice! But only to reassure you and recommend the least aggressive treatment before you consult your doctor or pharmacist (the latter being pretty well qualified to cover all sorts of issues like this).
