Hi folks, I seem to think I used to get email notifications when anyone commented on my work or replied to my posts in forum, but I don't get them anymore. Am I mistaken or is there a setting I need to change? I have email ticked in my profile. Thanks, Dawn

Only for comments on your work I think Dawn, I've never had them for forum replies. I can't help you though, I am still getting mine.
With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

You should get notification of comments on your works in the Gallery, and blogs (as I remember). There may be a way to get notification of replies to forum posts, but if there is I wouldn't want it! I'm trying to limit email coming in, because I'm going cross-eyed trying to keep track of it. I think you can subscribe to a topic, though - I've never actually done that, but presumably that'll get you notified. Click on the envelope symbol at the right of the screen against the topic heading (not the one right at the top of the page); see if that works. If you aren't getting notification of posts on your work, I would contact Dawn once you've taken another good look at your settings to see if there's some box that needs ticking.

Thanks, Alan. I think I have sorted it now. When I posted the above, darn me if a drop down box didn't appear on the bottom which said suscribe by email. I did and just got yours!

That's strange. I am getting notifications on forum replies now. It's months since I got email notifications comments on my work. Would one of you guys kindly comment on my latest in the gallery as a tester and I will check whether I get the notification. Thanks.

Hi DawnFH, I don't know if this might help. Click on 'your account' top of the page. In there go to 'manage profile' At the bottom of the page you will see a box, 'receive emails' untick that box and that should do it, hopefully.
