As an amateur painter I frame my paintings myself - yes I know it's looked down upon but as I never sell I'm the only one (plus poor family) to see the end result. However I do have the cutters to make beveled edges round the window of the mountboard so it's no different from a bought one. Now my question is - what does a pro' use to attach or stick the paper to the mountboard without damaging the paper. I admit I use making tape.... ! :$ I'm sure you're all competent framers so please enlighten me.
