Hi Christine . I know how you are feeling. I have done several holidays on my own over the years with art groups.  I promise you ,if you do go without a buddy it really won’t matter .  Everyone is of a like mind and just want to paint.  and often  people are on their own anyhow originally ,I’m my case my husband didn’t paint and wasn’t interested , now ,sadly he is tetraplegic and couldn’t go anyhow. . I did my first brave foray with Mary Anne Bartlett of Art Safari and went to Malawi. I had a wonderful time and did other holidays with her,  usually to Africa .  But if you google Art Safari you will see a plethora of holidays all over the world and the U K now other art tutors have joined her so lots to choose from.  I am having a week in Morocco with Adebanji Alade in October we have been virtual friends for a while...a lovely guy.  If you want details of that I can let you have them.  I won’t know anyone on that trip but I know I will be well looked after.... So go for it...enjoy....

Thankyou for your reply Sylvia. I was looking for someone to save on costs, it will almost double to go alone. I have to wear hearing aids & can hear very little without them so sharing a room would also be a comfort for me. Be safe Christine
