I need help producing realistic skin tones in pastel. Can anyone point me towards a good book or help me directly. I am using a Daler Rowney portrait set to produce a base colour and then trying to modify it with other pastels by adding greens, yellows, blues etc. All of my portraits end up too coppery or too pink because of the base colour. Any help would be appreciated...
