Hello everyone,very new here,I am an amature painter with pastel pencils and and currantly finishing my first project with V.Walters with soft pastel sticks,this was a first for me ,however I still found I had to use my pastel pencils for the fine details.
here is a tip that others may/ find usefull,my pastel pencils by Derwent just kept breaking of when I wanted to sharpen them,I had been using a craft knife,and tried a conventional sharpener.....then my hubby brought home an elecrtic pencil sharpener,what a major differance,now I get very sharp tis and no broken pastel ends.
