i desperately need help!
i have just finished a commission in pastel and went to fix it with spray. i tested the spray before i used it and it seemed fine, only when i used it on the picture its covered it with hundreds of blobs...but thats not the worst bit!
instead of picking up the fixative, i have accidently used windsor and newton general all purpose gloss varnish!! :'(
i have tried conacting windsor & newton but after being redirected to the technical support, the phone just rings out.
if i do manage to work the pastels over the the damaged areas(thankfully its only 1/3 of the picture and not it all!) can anyone tell me if the blobs might show up later on and ruin the picture for the future? I cant believe i have done this..i have spent weeks on this picture and i was so pleased with it. any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
