Noticed several topics in work-in-progress, or work-for-critique having a comment of 'Wow, I love it', posted by new members only having one post and having an empty profile/gallery....so my question is, do I assume this is AI? I'd like not only to know whether to ignore such postings, but to develop my ability to spot such ***
I noticed it the other day Gerry and my first thought was AI for sure . Best not to comment on the thread as it keeps it active just ignore if you think it’s AI and I will disappear again.  We seem to be getting quite a lot of comments from first time poster that pick up on topics from a while ago sometimes the how it comment is written is a clue to it mostly likely being AI originated .
Thanks. (I noticed one that had commented on a thread from 10 years ago. That got me wondering too.) Does this mean, if forum users learn that it's best not to comment, we might start seeing interesting threads that abruptly end immediately after a non-descript new poster comment?

If they're real, they'll come back with slightly more insightful comments.  If they just say one of the many versions of "lovely", then they don't really need an answer anyway - so ignore until we've something to respond to.  We'll remove these one word or one sentiment posts in due course, if there's no follow through; I do sneak through the posts every now and then and snip out the obvious try-ons: but it's difficult, because there are occasionally posts in which people just want to say "I like it".  That's the trouble with AI - it makes us suspicious of everything.
