Once on the forum you cannot get back to the POL gallery any more. Why has it changed? I´m not a happy bunny..

Yes, only just noticed it, must have happened very recently. By using the back arrow on your browser, you can get back (of course). Obviously changes have been made and not for the better. Unless it's some kind of temporary glitch.

I only noticed this today because Pat brought it up, I could always click on the gallery when I was using the forum...that facility seems to have vanished. If you've been looking around the forums, you may have to use the browser back arrow many times...it'll be quicker to reload POL. Whatever they've done is a backward step.

Just tried it. After coming into the forum, posting my comment, it took 6 clicks on the browser back arrow to get back to the POL home page showing the gallery. Hardly efficient.

I couldn't get to the site at all yesterday - for a while at least. It happens with every site now and then. Trust all is back to normal now - I wouldn't begin to know what the explanation is! It's all magic so far as I'm concerned.

I find it is no problem on my macbook pc, but the link back the gallery is missing on the iPad app. It is frustrating.

There's still a problem - I can only get to the site by typing the URL into my browser, whereas before I had the address stored and could just click on it and get here; that link doesn't work any more, but then I use something called Protopage to store links, and Google Chrome. Possibilities are that one of those two has thrown up a problem, or perhaps that the site is being worked on currently. Or we're back to magic again..... It may be that there's an iPad issue, but I don't use an iPad and have still had a problem. Any computer experts may have an opinion, of whom I am not one. But there is a technical issue somewhere in the woodwork, it's not just those who have noticed that summat's oop.

Kevin - I suspect the connection problem is temporary, but the competition issue is something I know nothing about; it's a long time since I tried to enter a competition. Suggest you contact Dawn Farley, the web/online manager, via the contact button (envelope symbol - as you probably knew, but just in case) at the top right of the page.

Sorry for the issues - we had to update some security settings which seemed to throw the forum into disarray! All fixed now though.

Don't know the answer to that, unless it's that the website isn't configured for the Ipad - I don't have one. On the desktop pc and laptop I use, the Gallery is up there at the top left of the screen. Would adjusting the resolution help? I imagine you've tried everything I could suggest.

Same problem with an android tablet, can't go from Forum to Gallery. Hate the way that the tablet works compared to the old desktop whose life I shall have to prolong as long as possible.
