Hello dear painters here! Even though this doesn't really fit here, I'm posting it anyway... since I haven't (yet) had time to paint... after many hurdles and attempts, I've found a little red kitten who has jumped and leaped into my heart. I've finally found a name for my treasure: Léon. With an accent aigu. Gandalf, no. Merlin, no. Leo, no. Aslan... that was my first thought... referring to the film Chronicles of Narnia. But no, Aslan is too heavy for the little fluffy ball of fur. I'm still grieving for Smoky, but Léon is a ray of sunshine who brightens up many dark times. I simply can't live without animals; they are my everything. I hope I was allowed to write these few lines and share some pictures of Léon. More watercolors from me will be coming soon. All my love until then, P.S.: He was born on July 26, 2025 :)

Oh, thank you so much for your lovely comments, I'm touched. I told Léon :) He looks at me like he's saying: I know I'm a heartbreaker :-D But he's so incredibly stubborn when he wants something!!! Haha, yes, the suggestion about painting is very good :) Thank you!! 🐈🙀

I'm just realizing that I'm scattering Léon's pictures everywhere – in the forum, on WhatsApp, to all my contacts, every day in my WhatsApp status :) I'm sure there are already people who are blocking that :) Oh well :) But today I actually had a breakthrough: even though Léon tried five times to destroy his own portrait – sorry, to play with it – I managed to finish sketching it. The first sketch in months... Tough times, deaths, losing Smoky, losing friendships, and Léon is my sunshine, but he demands my attention like a toddler. I get "almost" nothing done – he demands 1,000% entertainment :) Thank you for your kind comments, even though I didn't respond to all of them, I was very happy about each and every one!!  And here I'm fulfilling my promise: for starting an off-topic thread that doesn't belong in the forum, I've just drawn him :) even if it's not a masterpiece, but try drawing when 10 sharp claws follow your every move with bloody results.... 😍😽

I used Google Translate sentence by sentence, created the image, resized it, and spent 20 minutes creating the post – and then it just disappeared – all that work for nothing. Thanks.

Restored, Tanja.  I think it was the accent over the "e" in Leon, that triggered the over zealous spam detection software. Very cute, by the way
