Here is the May challenge for anyone who'd like to take part. It's a self portrait with a bit of a twist. Paint an object or place which you feel sums you up - something friends and family would recognise you by. Look forward to seeing them!

I completely missed this one, even though I do glance through the forum each day.  I was thinking just yesterday that I hadn’t seen a challenge for May!  Agree with Tessa though, that once a post sinks off the latest listing, it can be hard to find again, even with the search facility.

I wonder how many will feature something to do with art. I have thought of several but dismissed them as I feel others may do the same. This is an old painting and I will do another, but this is me to a tee. Old trucks ,old buildings ,old man that’s  a good description of me Plodding on content.

This is a painting I blogged about, and is not to be judged as my idea of a successful picture, because it's a) very overworked, b) very badly photographed.  I won't put it on the Gallery unless I can get a much better photo of it.  It's Self-Isolating on the Cliff Path.
