So the criteria are, paint a dog, in a limited palette, in watercolour? Not a specific dog, not the one in the download?
GOT to be watercolour, has it (he muttered a silent "Oh poo!" in anticipation of the answer being "yes".)?
And is it restricted to leisure painters, or does it include those of us who are more retired from the commercial throng than actually beginners/leisure painters and would normally be excluded from "amateur" competitions (bearing in mind however "professional" we might ever have been, that doesn't necessarily mean we were used to painting dogs.
I like to complicate things. It's me only pleasure.

Saw the topic about little dog's paintings and decided to share my story with you guys. Well, I've always dreamed a lot about having a dog, so when I got it I was unbelievably happy for myself. As I was being an artist for since I can remember myself I decided to draw my little Benedict. In a couple of days it was ready and everyone that had seen it told me that I should participate in at least online contest for the best pencil drawing of an animal. The one I took part in I found at https://www.voubs.com/ and guess what? I got a 800 bucks reward for winning it. So, never be scared about showing your drawings and everyone will like it, I can guarantee:)
