It’s good to know that your enjoying the forum Michael, it’s is a friendly place with lots of information and the banter that makes it feel good . I enjoy it also and  I have made a lot of friends on the site, people I would never have met other wise. Hopefully new members will feel able to join in the conversation etc as it’s always good to have different opinions and views .

A feature of a good arts forum is that we can be honest with each other - it may not be desirable to overdo that....  sometimes the spoonful of sugar approach is called for.  (You know, I really hate that song!  Just in passing.....) So long as a friendly forum doesn't turn into one of these threads you see on Facebook ("Oh, it's lovely George, Cynthia!" - no it bloody isn't!) this will remain one of the better ones: the trouble with universal praise is that you never know if it's entirely sincere or not: at the same time, you don't want to go ripping into honest work, especially if no one's asked you to.   Not that this need worry you at all, but be aware that if we do ask for criticism, we do tend to get it: which I think is how it should be, but it has very occasionally been taken amiss.

Hi Michael and welcome - HAPPY NEW 2023 YEAR to everybody as well ;) I'm quite new to the forum myself, it's been couple of weeks already, but it's enough to see, that this forum is full of life... It's very unique to what I've been experiencing before, where no response at all, or after weeks, not much attention to the new post neither. In here people do care for other members - that's priceless. Thank you ALL for making me feel welcomed ;) Happy New Year ;)

This forum works well for a simple reason , respect us we respect you and value each other’s comments and views,  even if we disagree. Above all we love artwork and the efforts to achieve it at any level.
