Just logged on after some little while and I find I am missing the 'latest' option here in the forum which gives (or gave) a list of the latest postings. Also there is no time of posting against the topic headings. As a result I have had to click on to each individual forum heading to find out if any comments have been lodged. It makes the Forum almost unusable . Am I alone in this or are others similarly affected?

Are you still having the same problem, Michael? If I click "forums" from the home page, then I get a page with "Latest Posts" at the top right. To the left side of the page is a list of Forum Topics (e.g. Media Forums: Drawing, Watercolour etc) which has a column for "Last post" in which the subject of the post with the latest contribution, and the time of the last contribution, are shown. Not a huge difference from what I recall of the old site.

No I don't get any of this Bill - I always used to until about a week ago but it now seems to have disappeared from mine altogether. When I click Forum from the home page all I get is a long list of the individual sections (watercolour, acrylics etc ) but no indication of when the last comment was made and no reference anywhere to 'latest posts'. I guess I must refer it to Dawn.

you look at the most recent .. to me the started by,, can be removed and popped inside the most recent column , no need for over kill
a lot of the site could be simplified ,there are to many ways to reach a subject or thread ,,
to capture a new comers attention quickly a site should be made as simply as possible
not flashy

Could be I'm being denser than unusual, but I've not noticed any difference in the site recently ... I can get to the forum entries, and dates and times of posting; and I don't have pop-up ads, but then I use Google Chrome and Adblocker (which I turn off from time to time just to see what I might be missing).

Do you use Internet Explorer on your wife's laptop too? Might be worth trying Firefox or another browser on your desktop to see if that makes any difference. It seems to be your computer unfortunately - hopefully we can get it resolved though. Did you shut down after the hard refresh and reopen from scratch?
