I bet an esky is the slang for Eskimo , given that Oz humour gave us tinny.
Reminds me of the Kiwi expression "Eskimo pie" for Choc ice!  and "Chilly bin" for the cold box.
I’m sure your fertile imagination will think up something for this one Lew.
Yes, the Esky is a cool box/chilly bin. There is a trade name ‘Esky’ for these, which I’m assuming came from Eskimo. I’ve been comparing temperatures between here and home (Norfolk) and certainly wouldn’t venture out without being rugged up. Looking forward to seeing a few more pieces before the end of the month. Any more, Lew?
I’m a little late submitting an image for this challenge. Not a particularly Christmassy one but hope the snow effect gives it a seasonal feel.
You do like your spikey trees Fiona.  This is verrrrry cold.
Here are a couple of my past Christmas cards. This one was for my art teacher!

Here is my second Christmas card for a friend last year. The rock salt on Ultramarine produced great snowflakes
Those are great snowflakes Julie.  Lovely card .
Your penguins are very cute Julie and I really like the snowflake effect with salt. Might have to try that one!
Thank you Sylvia and Tessa x
I do Sylvia, I’m useless at painting summer trees!  Love your cards Julie, especially the snowflakes, very effective.
