Two more for today!
These are gorgeous photos, Dawn - look forward to seeing what folk produce.  Thank you :)
The photos are a joy to see, and equally joyful the posts from, Tessa and Margaret, well done ladies. I just love the flowery one and will be having a go at that, and possibly a small verse to go with it. Thanks P.O.L team,
Well done Tessa and Margaret for being the first to have a go, hope to get something done later today, another two great pics from Dawn, plenty of variety, I love my wildlife and flowers so this suits me perfectly.
Well, that is so nice of Dawn to post on a Saturday, the least I could do was have a go! I won't be able to participate every day, I'm busy on other art related projects, but I'll dip in when I can. Been out painting earlier this morning, next to a reservoir, and it was perishing, the wind whipping across the water. Yacht's were having some fun though! Blue acrylic ink on Strathmore tinted pastel paper.
you all have been busy lately. Love the photos so I thought I would have a go at the flower, and the Peacock

We had a peacock come and visit us, a few years ago - Lord knows where he came from; he stayed for a fortnight, roosted in the trees, and then - off he went: never seen since.  He was utterly fabulous, while he was here - apart from a tendency to pick fights with his own reflection in the conservatory glass.  And I thought, I must paint him - and then I thought: oh no I mustn't!  Too damn' difficult!  So I admire your bash at one of 'em, Alan ... they are spectacular birds, but I contented myself with photographing him - especially after he gave us a full display, and I realized I could never begin to compete with that.   (This was for both Alans: braver men than I!  I have drawn a pheasant or two, mind.)

First of all, thank you Dawn for setting this photo challenge up to help us all through this present uncertainty, especially on your day off! Your beautiful photos will give us inspiration to keep going... I thought I would try your wonderful Peacock, he’s so handsome.  I’ve used gouache and a bit of pen. My photo isn’t too good, poor light .

Lovely sketches Alan, Alan and Fiona.  Here is my attempt at the peacock - Caran D'Ache Neocolor II ws wax crayons and fountain pen.
