May I, as one who came to the POL site too late to get involved in the GOSH auction, congratulate all of you who took part and raised a much needed £770? With particular congratulations, of course, to Beatrice Cloake.
I hope I can help next year, if you tackle this again. As one who gives time to the NHS as a volunteer, I know how much this sort of fundraising is appreciated: not only because of the money it raises but also because it raises the profile of the service.
I hope no one is disappointed you didn't reach the £1,000 mark. This is your first time and financial times are hard. It was a remarkable achievement to all of you, and a great thing for POL, The Artist and Leisure Painter to have supported.
