Yes I noticed on yesterday under each new posting on the front page is an icon where you can click to go to that particular gallery...really good I thought that way you can view a new persons or someone whose work you have missed just by clicking on the front page

There has been another delay with some of the work being done to improve the gallery section. However we should be live very soon with all the updates. We are looking forward to seeing the addition of a videos section and are sure you will all be uploading some great clips as soon as possible!

Great job - but I find myself getting sidetracked and looking at lots of paintings and not commenting (lol) I must get on and paint. Definitely solved all the problems though :->

Is anyone else having a problem with adding a comment / thanks / reply, underneath their own painting, or occassionally other peoples work? It has happened to me a few times. I haven't had any difficulty before...how do other people find it, please? Any suggestions? :'(

With the new format you have to go into the portfolio to be able to add a comment; the little flash  pictures that pop up on the front page don't allow comments but once in the portfolio I've had no problems. Well done POL, love the new Gallery page. All problems solved!

Hi Ruth I have a spell checker which I got my Hubby to put on for me...you have to download one for the Internet apparently...I used to be a good speller think it's an age thing...that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Love the new gallery so congratulations to the team...the blog page is also better when you get out of the S's and back out with the arrow you don't go back up to the top of the page anymore which is great...scrolling down again and again was eye boggling

The gallery changes are terrific! Nice layout and easy access. A few small additional features on my wish list would be: you could click on a commentor's name and presto you would be directed to their portfolio- instead of going through a search. Another wish would be to have a nested portfolio of one's favorite artists (with the option of being private or public). That way you could click on the fav portfolio and see the latest work of friends. I used to belong to another art site, and I found these features immensely useful. Just a thought :-D

In magazines I have seen pieces cut from coloured mags. incorporated into acrylic paintings stuck down and over -painted with acrylic medium. Surely in a short time the colours on the cuttings will fade not very good if someone buys it and the colours are fugitive here and there! This should Ben on the mixed media section but it's got a thread going that is about "other media"....Lino printing......Syd :-)
