It is never my intention to be anything more than honest and I can't go into chapter and verse about something that doesn't excite me. These two paintings didn't excite me, quite frankly they are the sort of thing found at provincial auction houses in their hundred's, usually all thrown into a cardboard box as a job lot complete with battered gold frames, yes, always gold frames and the statutory cracked glass encasing dreadful flower prints.
