Hi all
I have a painting which after a couple of months I varnished using liquin on the advice of a friend, as he said that I had to wait 12 months before I could apply a "proper" varnish.
I have now done my own research and it would appear that he was right about waiting 12 months but I fear that Liquin was totally the wrong product to use.
What effect could it have on my painting in the long term?
The liquin was applied about 12 months ago could I remove it with any products?
I actually want to lower the gloss level as where it hangs it reflects a lot of light, could I use either a matt varnish or wax applied over the top of the liquin?
Any advice most welcome
