I retired about 9 years ago after working on a National Nature reserve. I used to draw and sketch a lot as a kid and as an adult I have dabbled with watercolour, only just, also acrylics but mainly gouache.
I recently made my first attempt at oil painting, blue sky and fluffy white clouds (not finished yet) and my second attempt was a stormy sky. I was filled with trepidation but am quite pleased with the results however, I didn't realise they would take so long to dry. I have tried drying them in the airing cupboard but dust is the issue.
Can anyone tell me the best way to allow oils to dry whilst keeping dust at bay?
