Hi I retired about 9 years ago after working on a National Nature reserve. I used to draw and sketch a lot as a kid and as an adult I have dabbled with watercolour, only just, also acrylics but mainly gouache. I recently made my first attempt at oil painting, blue sky and fluffy white clouds (not finished yet) and my second attempt was a stormy sky. I was filled with trepidation but am quite pleased with the results however, I didn't realise they would take so long to dry. I have tried drying them in the airing cupboard but dust is the issue. Can anyone tell me the best way to allow oils to dry whilst keeping dust at bay? Many thanks. :'(
