Nice apples Sylvia. I've just done this it didn't take long an hour, I'm certainly getting a lot quicker a few months ago this would have taken me hours to do. I hope it looks like a honey jar.

Denise: You aren't 'arf getting better at this!   Make Sylvia your model - indefatigable is the word we seek.
Thanks Robert, I enjoy the challenges, they kind of give you a break from the paintings you are doing which is really refreshing. Sylvia is a worthy model to follow for sure.

Awe thank you both of you….I think…Robert  ! . I must admit Denise you do astound me with your progress.  Are you completely sure you haven’t been painting for years ? . One small crit if you don’t mind , well I will anyway.  Look at the bottom of the glass jar… think about the curve ,it should be a deeper curve.  Otherwise your pic is bloody good.
Fat fingers AGAIN. .

I don't mind at all Sylvia, it will make me pay more attention to it in the future. Oh by the way, I haven't been painting for years, my family can't believe it. I send my mum my paintings and she sends them around the family, without my knowledge, I only found out recently, she sends them to everyone in her phone and they send them around to their friends and people don't believe I only started just over a year ago. There is only one thing I regret in life and that is not discovering art sooner. Art has become my life now, apart from your children and your mother and father, nothing has given me such emotional intensity but I guess that how all art people feel. I feel I have missed out on much. I feel I can't fit it all in or get the experience because I've discovered it late in life. I'm sure I'll get along with it all. I just hope to continue to improve and experience. I have found the artists on here have helped me to develop very much.
Good for your mum.  I can quite see why she is proud of your pics.   You have so many lovely things  to discover….
Denise, I agree with Sylvia. You've done some amazing artworks over the last year and a bit. I don't get the 'emotional intensity' you describe, but I AM 'emotionally' (I suppose!) grateful for being able to create things. However, I am envious of those who can create abstract works, and not abstract, but looser, more 'messy' (for want of a better word). I curse my 'neatness' at times.
A couple of G & Ts help Helen.
Helen, I would like to work looser, I try but it is difficult. I might try that Sylvia.
Sylvia, I often try that method, But tend to fall asleep rather than paint anything!

That CAN be a drawback Helen.
