Yes Jim you are right. lets try this one.before this gets lost , like so many items of mail( well that’s what we are told) it’s a lyric from the song by the carpenters PLEASE MR POSTMAN. ( mr postman look and see If there's a letter in your bag for me)) believe it or not this still get sung to me by some comedians.

I think you've guessed Jim's, Fiona. I have to disagree with you Jim, about the best version. It's still Paul Simon for me, much more feeling to it.No argument re Simon and Garfunkel Marjorie, they were/are incredibly talented and made a shed full of hits. "Disturbed" are heavy metal and their version was just terrific for me. Well done to you and Fiona for knowing the answer. PS: I'm no heavy metal fan normally, and My first favourite from Simon and Garfunkel (still is ) was Scarborough Fair as I love madrigals and minor key stuff, choral, chant etc, Sadness Part II etc and Seal's "Kissed by a Rose " (pity the lyrics turn out to relate to drugs). I also love brass bands, something that came late in life, and the film "Brassed Off" was a feast of great music. .
