Can I start by saying I do wish that Dawn was here to set these challenges , it seems a bit underhanded doing it without her .  Anyway on with this months challenge, do something in your own style representing the word May , it can be May flowers, Mayhem, Mayday etc using only bold colours. The second part is to paint an abstract or semi abstract once again representing the word May . I will find the second part extremely challenging, good luck but most of all join in and enjoy the challenge.

Paul, I also miss Dawn’s monthly challenges, but you’re doing a great job, so keep it up!  Think this may just about fit your challenge for May - colourful flowers at the garden centre.

Paul you are Gobsmacking in the efforts that you put into POL and yes I miss Dawn as well.       Ooooops just realised that there are only 30 days in April.   Daffy me and I am sorry I said you had it wrong.nice choices for May.   Like your garden centre Jenny  …i And Stephen and Sandra’s parks.

Just bringing this back up, a reminder that you still  have time to do a painting or sketch , collage , abstract etc .

You need to post it to the May Sketch  a day challenge, that’s where the list is for the daily challenge, this one is for the monthly complete paintings . Don’t worry about it we all get it wrong to start with , I still do regularly.  
With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

Julie, I don't think you need worry.  Paul is an understanding chap, and anyway your post was entertaining.  This gives me the opportunity to pay him tribute, because he's brought a lot of life and interest to the Forum - we all miss Dawn, and some of us are not happy with the unexplained fact of her disappearance; but that's water under the bridge, sadly.  I'm sure if Paul needs a bit of help, people will provide it, and I believe Jenny has.   I could always think of challenges - not that I very often respond to them.
