Well July was certainly fun - I struggled with a few nationalities that's for sure! So with August being the eighth month of the year, how about dividing a page into eight squares and sketching something different from the house or garden into each one, thus creating an August mosaic?

Wasn’t sure about tackling this one - I rarely sketch anything, but thought I’d have a go and surprised myself by actually enjoying it.  These are all items found in my painting room, done in Inktense pencils.

Good one Jenny. I didn’t quite take on board the ‘squares’ but this is snapshots of my garden in ink and Derwent water soluble pens.  The paper didn’t cope with the water well. I’ll have another attempt at this challenge another day.

Hope you too, are keeping cool. Will be having a go at this, soon. Some wonderful colours coming in the hedgerows.
