I just read an interesting thread about fixing pastel in mixed media and wondered if anyone could help me with a similar dilema. I have completed a still life picture using soft pastel and water colour pencil. I used the pencils as ordinary colouring pencils, that is I did not add water to them. I am concerned now about using fixative spray on the picture. will this make the pencil run? I was going to do a test piece but wondered if anyone here had any advice or similar dilemmas!
