Lovely work Sylvia. I agree about coloured pencils. You are certainly getting great results.
I started with inktense and still have some left, my clumsy use led to more breakages than other brands I tried so I now use Faber mostly. But it's all the same thing. Age has limited my use of the brush...wobbly hands. At the moment I'm struggling with a dip-pen, so coloured pencils and pencils in general may be my last resort.

Certainly oil is now at a very off-putting price: but it lasts a long time. I still think acrylic is pretty cheap, considering what you can get for your money. But I'll look out for Inktense pencils for my next shopping trawl: so that's coloured charcoal; Inktense pencils; replacing all my oil paints which contain Zinc Oxide; and I could do with more acrylic ..... it never ends!

Lovely picture Syvia. We used to call them 'nanny-pop-offs' as kids, because if you squeeze below the flower, it pops off like a jack in the box.
Wondering if they sell quality coloured pencils in singles? I have a set like yours (which I dont use often enough) but I guess they would turn out expensive, if you can't just buy the ones you need.

Ah... the neighbours think I'm nuts anyhow, new occupation squeezing the bottom of Convolvulus to watch them pop. New one on me Norrette o
Inktense are not super expensive and possibly you could buy just the individual colours. I always have boxes full of almost finished and never used so a good point .
I don't think I have ever bought tube paint in a set asi know there would be so m@ny I wouldn't use.
