Complete pig and …not nice day…if it could go wrong it has gone wrong. So no sketching.
So this is a golden oldie of a Golden Oldie about what I used to get up to in the olden days.
I did bop in the Cavern to the famous four, I did spit in my mascara ,I did wear mini skirts…wow good times.
Not telling you which of these three was me.

I recon it’s you in the red dress Sylvia. So sorry to hear that you are having a bad time with your heating .
Heather his awful your New Year has been so far, I hope thing settle down soon and you have a better time.
Shingles can be so painful , I think unless you have had it you don’t realise.

Shingles is utterly horrible - my father had it, my (younger) brother had it, and as I have the rubella virus tucked away in my system (which was presumably awoken by your vaccination Heather) I'm likely to get it too - but so far, I've avoided it. Virtue's reward, I expect....
Best wishes in getting over it.
Sylvia - I had imagined a Convent School background, a Coming Out Ball (would have a slightly different meaning today), a chaste courtship, and thereafter domestic respectability. Instead, I discover you were flaunting your suspenders in the Cavern Club, and positively inviting the lewd and the low - which could so easily have led to the censure of all right-thinking people, rendering you a hissing and a by-word and quite possibly a Fallen Woman.
The shock is positively painful to one of my exquisite sensibilities. I hope you overcome whatever your difficulties may be, but can one gently suggest that it's probably God's Punishment?

Great sketch Sylvia! I bet your skirts were not as short as mine! I used to wear a tees shirt dress, that was meant to be worn with jeans or a mini skirt, but I didn’t bother. I did have the over the knee boots though to lessen the visible legs.
These days though girls look as though they are knock-kneed and shivering as they wait in queues outside night clubs and cinemas. I keep meaning to do a sketch of their stance, but it needs to be in either Quintin Blake or Lewis Cooper style.
