Two paintings or photographs, one superimposed on the other.  I've no idea whose it is.

Probably two negatives (remember those!), superimposed on top of each other and then a positive image printed from this…  It hasn’t really worked out well though, that’s my opinion anyway!

Thanks. It's from a Norwegian TV series called R.I.P. Henry. I thought it looked like a painting/print from a famous artist or something. The picture gave me that vibe at least.

Well, one might think of Warhol in this sort of connection - and maybe the original image is a lot easier to see than this reproduction, which even the right way up, I can't make much sense of.

I downloaded the image yesterday to turn it round and enlarge it because I couldn't make it out. The little thumbnail on my desktop looks like a portrait of a man with a fringe and glasses, when I zoom in it's completely lost. I don't know if that is just pareidolia on my part or intensional.
