Apropos of nothing previously discussed, I'm sitting inside, looking out at a beautiful day, golden light from the morning sun, blue sky ( yes, it's cold and windy but not inside ) and my little heart is uplifted! Want to capture it somehow....tra la tra la!
It is, cold and windy and blue sky and gold ...I’ve just trudged doggo through a sea of mud. Look forward to your happy painting Marjorie.
Grey and overcast here, good day to stay inside and catch up on some painting! That was a lovely happy post Marjorie.
3am in the morning and looking out at the courtyard in the front of the house it's flooded with light from one of the largest moons I've seen for a long time and just remembered I haven't put the bins out - must do it first thing as they come early - heigh ho - having waxed my lyrical it's back to bed.
The moon was indeed very bright last night, this is the second super moon. Why they call it that I don't know, but non the less always a treat. I hope you captured something for the new year, Marjorie.
Early this morning put the bin out in my dressing gown (err that's me in the dressing gown not the bin) and binmen came at 8.45am ( I'm sure you wanted to know this) and all's well with the world. Now off to studio looking across a sun filled garden
Rain, rain and more rain. Will it ever end? I've painted rain too often, so it's imagination for me, but I have plenty of that....😆
No, fortunately for anyone in earshot I didn't start singing Marjorie, may do that when I see your lovely painting though. Syd, I wish our Council provided two bins for garden waste. I have a large garden, even composting what I can the tiddly little green bin we're provided with doesn't hold enough. I did like your answer about the bin for waste food though! I think our generation doesn't waste food, the way we were brought up. Like the idea of the gin, unfortunately too early in the morning for that (9.50 am here). Actually, have been invited to a drinks party later, must go and buy some stuff to take. So sorry about your cold Sylvia, do hope you are better soon. And that 2018 will be on the up and up for you from here on.
