Is anyone going to see the exhibitions in situ? We’re planning to go down  on Thurs. 2nd Sept. I like seeing the paintings “ in the flesh”.

No craft fair or demos this year so I won’t be going Marjorie. I will be driving over to collect my two entries though, unless you tell me that there’s a red dot on each of them - unlikely but it has happened a few times in past years.

 I visited Patchings yesterday. Although the art demos etc weren’t on it was still exciting to see all the paintings in situ. Some were smaller than I was expecting, some larger. To name a few, Russell’s was a very sensitive portrait, Heather’s looked good, I liked Jan’s “ breakfast”, and Alan’s two looked great together ( my favourite is the upper one). Christine’s seal stood out…nice to see paintings from friends on the site.

So glad you managed to get there Marjorie and the paintings really do look good framed and ‘live’. I don’t think we’ll make it this year, also a bit of a trek from here.
