Started these yesterday evening, the peas are eaten, now.

I haven't stopped working, but I still felt this apathy, wanting to create but found no gusto to do so, and started doodling and using a different form of art work and medium, this seems to have kick-started my desire to get back to painting.

Yes, probably too much time on our hands, plus a feeling of apathy engendered by current events, is the reason I haven't been producing.  But I've done stuff this past week, I think I'll try to get some pics done and not worry about how they turn out. I like your painting CJ, and the calligraphy looks great.
I’ve been following this thread, and for me it’s too much time on my hands. I was going to retire this year and all those plans we had are on hold and has left me floundering a bit. PO has been a life line in a way, and given me a reason to paint or sketch even when I haven’t felt like it. I’ve had always scoffed at the idea of online friends, but I’ve changed my mind and value this. I do realise I don’t have much to moan about in the scheme of things but life has changed for us all in varying ways. I’m losing the thread of what I was thinking now. That’s another symptom I think🤔
Those peas CJ, I do like them!
And your lovely calligraphy!
Thankyou, Marjorie and Lewis, nothing too technical, but it helps the motivation. I love drawing the larger letters and painting them, I've purchased some great books on the subject, I promise not to flood the forum with them. Your in good company, here, Katy.
CJ, remembered what I was going to say now, love the little pea watercolour.
Gave myself an hour to do this " warm up" on a piece of card ( snapped off mallow ) before I painted something "proper".  By the time I'd faffed around and taken probably longer, it was time to go shopping so I didn't get to start on a "proper" painting.😐
Looks like a proper painting to me, really lovely Marjorie
Well Marjorie, that’s looks really good and worthy of being called ‘proper’!
:) thanks, Katy. That looks well good to me, Marjorie, and a great perspective.
