friend of mine posted this picture and said can you see the dragon. just in case you can not,  I have tried to help. Has anyone else see things that are not really there?
Friendly dragon, not bothering the dog at all.   And yes, I have often seen things that aren't there - especially when I don't put my glasses on; my latest triumph was to mistake a lump of stone that had fallen off the garden wall for a tortoise.
Nice one Alan.  I think you can see the dragon if you want to.  But that rather odd fallen tree with its shiny bark, MIGHT be taken for an outstretched arm and claw. I'm pretty sure I HAVE seen things that aren't there...can't think of one at the mo.  I'm certain I haven't seen things that ARE there on occasion.  Like...where's my blue pencil...who's got my blue pencil...Ohh...there it is...right where I put it.
When I first looked at the photo and saw mention of the dragon, I thought I could make out a tiny little dragon sitting on top of the tree root or whatever it is, where you’ve painted a dragons head, can’t make out the bigger one.  I’ve always seen faces in everyday objects, it’s quite disconcerting at times.  Not sure what that says about me!

I do the same thing Jenny , tree trunks, shadows , patterns on floors etc all have a hidden face somewhere I don’t even have to look that hard they just pop out.
I see the dragon. A large claw of a bird of prey with the head of a man wearing glasses underneath it. Also a rat-like figure behind the dragon. A story board for sure.
A little white dog...
