Stupid Ejits

Yes we’ve had a good run without them… I’ve reported them all, as I’m sure you have Sylvia!

Removed three of them and banned the user - the trouble is that they come back with another identity: usually during bank holidays, I find .... a better detective than I would perhaps conclude something from that.  

It's all about promotion, and money - the more they can promote the (bloody silly) games, the greater attention and clicks they generate, the more they can earn from the various platforms they promote.  Mind you - their mentality goes a long way beyond me, too:  why bother with this?  There was one the other day - I couldn't sleep that night, so caught them early before anyone had actually complained, linking to what looked like an arts auction website - it infuriates me!  The Artist and Leisure Painter magazines provide this platform for us, at no cost to ourselves, and others with commercial sites latch onto it, pay not a penny for their advertising, post "share with anyoldcrap.com", and expect us to accept it (artanddesign.com or something like it was the site to which we were invited to share: but why would we?  You won't pay for your advertising, you post the same "share with" link on numerous threads - do you REALLY think we're going to respect that, or want to share anything with you?  You can bugger off!).   I just think this sort of thing is an insult to this site, and to those who try to maintain it, of which I am but a very small cog.  Go on their sites and do the same thing, and they'd kick you off in a matter of seconds.  There are some pleasures in being Dawn's Little Helper, and squishing these people is one of them.
