Just received my "vintage " painting  from e bay.   If I didn't explain earlier ,I found this quite inadvertently whilst  scrolling e bay in the early hours.   I painted it a good few years ago.I'm delighted to have it back.  Have messaged the seller to ask which charity shop he found it in.

Like the painting Sylvia looks very stormy, did I name it at the time. How fascinating it is that it come home and I would be interesting to know where it’s traveled.

Just had a conversation from the guy I have bought it from...........he found it in @ skip...........I'm laughing.  That puts me in my place. He did add that the money he raises he donates to charity.

Oh dear, not quite the reply you’d expected! - at least he thought it worth rescuing, and for a charitable cause.  It reminds of Van Gogh’s Wheatfield with Cypress.
