Haven't done much in here of late and near future, what with wedding preps (tomorrow!!!!!!!!!) and being away in the caravan, then next week we are away again from Wednesday till the 22nd. I will take the laptop, but for instance last week I didn't use it. Any sketches I will do will be posted hopefully once back at home. Looking forward togetting serious at the easel again. Good painting and whatever everyone.

Wow! What a day - thanks. Weather perfect almost too hot. Apart from some traffic issues in the city which made daughter and I get to the ceremony 30 mins late in a pale blue 75 Chevvy Belair, it was highly successful and Carole and I have big happy grins since. The Royal Winchester Hotel is certainly recommended on every count. My speech went well and the party after was smashing. That carries on tonight in the Black Boy fave pub in the city, where they have invited lots more who would have overrun their budget maxing at 65 wedding guests. The tree I prepared for them worked a treat and looks fabulous.

Don’t think there’s likely to be much call for wedding photographer here at the moment! What a bizarre advert to post.

I too thought it was in poor taste, mainly because the much loved Derek is no longer with us, and partly since Derek was describing a wedding in Winchester, it is hardly likely he would have used a Glasgow photographer.  As Mr Geraldo has no other posts it would seem he opened an account for the sole purpose of abusing the system.  If I were Mr Dawson (photographer)I would be less than pleased to be associated with this.

As I understand it, the more links there are on websites to the advertiser's site, then the higher ranked on Google that site becomes in searches.  Hence it is useful for people to get links on other sites that are not taken down.  I will click on the "report" button.
