I entered three pastels but had no luck either. Ironically, at the same time, I entered an oil for the American LightSpaceTime.art monthly competitions and got it into the top 80....no prizes or money to be had, but nice to see the pic up there with all the others.

I have been out with my WI today for lunch, 100 women all talking at once (well it seemed like that!). I'm sure if the government comprised only of women we girls would get a lot more done! (only joking fellas). My hubby keeps asking when there is going to be a Mens' Institute!

My wife informs me that washable nappies are now all in the past - no point in keeping the galvanised bucket then. As for Lysistrata no I don't remember her but my Dad told me all about her - the mere thought of her gives me withdrawal symptons.
