This week I have been unable to upload an image, but eventually got one on today. I do not have issues with connectivity my iPad, computer or phone work fine. Tried repeatedly over the days to upload. Managed once but image washed out. Next one said the image to large but actually well within the uploading allowance. So I wonder is anyone else is finding problems with uploading, or am I the only one.
I  have problems downloading to the Forum pages, but I think that might be a combination of techno-clumsiness  (think cow and musket)  and the fact that I need new glasses and have a cataract forming - I haven't had problems loading to the Gallery, but then, there was only one recent attempt, and that was a scan.  I'll  have a go if I can manage to focus a camera;  hard to do with one and a half eyes in a dark and dingy flat; but anything is hard to do, Jones, if you don't make the b. effort...
I am also having problems uploading, I don't get any error messages so no clues as to why it doesn't work for me, any idea's anyone.
For some reason David, there is always quite a long delay between submitting a post and it appearing in the gallery. You have to wait until the ticks appear. ( This never happened a while ago). Are you coming off the page too early? I always have to wait a couple of minutes - I think it even says there has been an error - but then it works.
The upload page rarely if ever responds in  timely fashion, so opening another tab while it's still playing silly beggars, and  going straight to the Gallery,  you'll normally see that your image HAS been  posted.  You can then shut the upload tab.  Just one of those lovable little quirks that keeps a chap interested.
Once it’s started posting if you open the gallery in another window you will often see that it’s already on the gallery. Close the window that is still loading one e you have opened it in the second window , hope this makes sense.
Two of us giving the same advice at the same time, bit like buses come along two at a time .
Here comes the number 11 bus. It’s settled down and no more problems with uploading. BUT  still the colours are washed out at times.
John, I have that problem with mine most of the time.  I usually up the vibrancy quite a bit, sometimes by up to a third, before posting - it usually sorts it, although can take a few attempts to get it right.
