Another worthy winner of the "Nocturne" themed competition ,won by Tony Bartley . I am so enjoying looking at all the entries for these competitions there is some wonderful work being posted. Alan ( B) I am awaiting your Van Gogh entries with very bated breath. I know already they will be amazing. It would be good to see more forum members entering.

Congratulations to Tony! It must be very difficult for the judges Sylvia, there are some fabulous examples of art on the competition pages. I’m also looking forward to seeing Alan (B) Van Gogh style paintings.....and yes, they will be something special I’m sure. I’ve completed two so far for the comp.

Thanks girls, no pressure then... I have completed three largish van Gogh style paintings a few weeks ago. They are drying at the moment and will all require a bit of fine tuning prior to photographing. I've had a quick scan over some of the entries and there are some damn good one's already submitted. Yes, well done Tony, I'll have a look at your winning entry later.

Pleased to hear that you are enjoying the competitions - we are loving seeing all the entries and yes, judging isn't at all easy! Don't forget that today is the last day for entering the Charity Christmas painting competitions too - get your festive paints out asap!
