Just looked at her gallery - so much more than sporting sketches.  A sad loss.
Sad news, a moment for reflection.
Such sad news. Paulette had an extraordinary talent for capturing the essence of the subject. I especially loved how she brought the wildlife characters of her garden to life in the drawing/paintings and introductions. RIP
Don't know why I still expect life to be fair, at my age; but it just damn' well isn't, is it?
Even when you don't know a person it is always sad to read of their passing and with them their talent. So true, Robert.
Good evening everyone I thought I would let you know that Jenny made the excellent suggestion that we feature Paulette’ s artwork on the Inspiration from Artist Thread  and I agree wholeheartedly. I will change next weeks artist and on Sunday I will open the thread with Paulette’s work  until Wednesday . Please look at her gallery and select a painting you particularly like and add with a comment if you wish .
I'm so angry - deeply upset, but what on earth can you do?  So angry at this disease: I know this is just silly, and perhaps self-indulgent, but I just feel how DARE it?  Anyway, there it is; please never talk to me about the love of God, I'll just be rude: sorry and all that, but - I realize religious people have their own way of reconciling suffering with their faith, I also realize that there are many ways of interpreting human suffering in relation to religious belief, and I'm not trying to challenge anyone.  But - just don't tackle me with religion right now - I just can't manage it.
Great idea, Paul, our paths crossed.  Incidentally - I know we dont all have money to spare, but I would repeat my suggestion that we make a contribution to cancer research, if we can.
Oh that is dreadful news indeed, how very sad.
Oh, that's so sad.  her work was so distinctively different and I always admired each and every one.   Such a sad loss to the art world and even more so to her family.
Such sad news indeed. She posted some marvellous paintings. Condolences to her family.
I remember her cricket paintings. So sad. Condolences to her family.
