I am looking for safety tips to pack and move the paintings. My sister is having her birthday in the coming month and I am planning to gift her Alexander Donskoi's painting. She is a great art lover and a great fan of Donskoi, so I thought to get his painting for her. Can I get his paintings under $600? (I don't have much saving). Also, I would like to get ideas on how to package the paintings and ship to NewYork safety because she is living there and I can't see her on her birthday. I got an idea about packaging online (https://www.jiffystorage.com/moving-tips/self-storage-and-packing-tips/) but I would like to get your suggestions and insights on safe moving. Looking for your replies. Thanks in advance.

Hello and Welcome GloriMorgan. Sorry I can't help with your packaging problem except to say shop around and ask advice from the carriers. Royal Mail have a web site with lots of info re prices. Hopefully someone else has more experience. 🙂
Why not try to find an art dealer local to your sister and buy online to be delivered to her, Glori? From what I can see, this artis's paintings are rather expensive and I think you'll find, way outside your budget. You might find a signed proof print and do it that way. I think you're on a loser otherwise, sorry to be negative. Jim.
