I have lived near Oxford and visited the city for the past twenty plus years and to day I was shocked to find right in the city centre this beautiful scene .
It a mile and a half circular walk completely surrounded by buildings the main shopping are is directly behind the buildings . The programme Morse was often filmed using this beautiful area.
Please use the photos for paintings if you would like , I took them today and own the copyright but give consent for you to use them if you wish.
