My appoligies if someone has already do this post, but i though it would be an intresting way to find out about other artist ........
I discoverd this artist when I was given a special edition of my favorite book, which had inlultration done by him........
His name is Alan lee, born in middlesex 1947, he studied graphic design , at ealing school of art, he loved celtic and norse myths. He was a freelance artist and worked with another of my fave artsist, called Brain Froud, on a volum of books titled Faeries. The book i discovered him in, was lord of the rings.............
i love how he created the world of JRR Tolkien........
I hope that i can learn more about other artist....
