For the past few week I’ve had some problems painting for more than 10 minutes or so. For the past week I have needed to have both hands in splints, due I’m told to acute inflammatory arthritis , hellish  painful as well. The effect it’s having on my style of painting is incredible, I’m basically having to learn new ways of doing things. A simple wash takes so long it’s drying out as I’m applying it, and small detail wort is incredibly difficult to do.. The benefits are I’m learning new ways of doing thing and having to take longer to do them, has proved a benefit at times. It’s something I need to get used to as it’s a rather down hill event. Please don’t take your dexterity and hand mobility for granted, it’s a shock when it goes wobbly. I am determined to plod on as painting is more than a pass time to me.
