IDon’t sit me on the floor... I’m stranded... Fiona I am awed, only a table leg for help. I’d need a crane.. your weather is even worse than ours.

I drag myself up holding onto the bench, perhaps that's why the floor doesn't get washed as often as it should!

just picking up on this, needed a bit of humour today! I have to admit I haven’t resorted to extreme housework yet, excuse that I don’t want to go to B&Q. Not sure how long we can put that one off. As for painting disasters, my remedy is - don’t put on your reading glasses, take a distant photo and remain in ignorant bliss until you are ready to face thefailure. Oh, and don’t ask hubby for a honest opinion🤣

Nowadays when I get out of bed I walk like Frankenstein's monster - and that's on a good day! Standing at an easel makes it worse, sitting etc. Oh the joys!

With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

I fell over last week - tripped over the foot of the bed, of all things. Landed on my right knee - I was there for a good (bad) five minutes before formulating a cunning plan to resume the vertical - the trouble is, the older you get the longer it takes to get over these things. But a pox on housework! If I can't do it without having to call for help to get up again - I just don't do it. Welcome to Hotel Squalide..... but better than than being stuck in a cupboard, or under the sink.

I agree about don’t ask hubby. He recently told me that my coloured pencil works looks flat. But what does he know about flat? He also said I’ve got tits like a 20 year old! Should have gone to spec savers is about right.
