Hi there! I'm a reporter from a press agency and we love to do positive stories about how art has helped or affect people. If you have been through an experience, have any tips, or want to raise awareness about a particular issue, then please get in touch. It could be about anything - do you have a unique style or create unusual art, have you used art to raise awareness or money for charity, or maybe you have a funny/sweet/tragic art related story! We can make sure you are paid for your stories, or make a donation to charity. For more info or to see what kind of stories we work on visit: https://www.talktothepress.co.uk/ Or feel free to contact me directly at [email protected] Thanks!
Looks interesting Katie. Will have a think. There are several “ characters “ on the forum...you may get more than you bargained for .
Are scrapyards and old trainers unusual enough? :) Anth.

Guys this is a phishing scam. The website is aimed at getting your money into their pockets. Think it through... David
I haven't bothered to click on the links - the questions asked seem banal to me, and the sort of 'human interest' stuff which bores me rigid. But if you want to take advantage of the exposure offered, it might be for you. Not for me - it's not that I wouldn't welcome exposure (um: as it were) but "positive stories about how art has helped or affect(ed) people"? Art isn't therapy - it's not supposed to "help" - if it does, that's entirely incidental to its purpose. This is the sort of question you might well ask of occupational therapists in hospital or hospice, and might be better directed there.
It's a curious company with a rather busy website. Although one gets the impression that they probably do sell stories to the media, it's interesting to look the team up on LinkedIn. The editor lists her position at the company, as wel as having a position as a feature writer for the Sun. The Features Editor's listing sys she left the company in 2015, the Senior Features Writer doesn't list the company at all in his experience, though he does freelance work. The Junior Features Writer lists the company on her LinkedIn page, but says she has been the a Senior Features Write for the past 4 years and dDputy Editor for the past two and a half years. One hopes they pay more attention to detail with their clients stories.
One thing is certain, the publishers won't be doing this for our benefit, although it may well be worthwhile, but not something that I would want to be involved with. If I've got any interesting stories to share, my first port of call is always the two art publications, namely Leisure Painter and The Artist. These editions reach other like-minded artist's, and have a good chance of being read by the thousands of world-wide subscribers. I've shared dozens of such stories and had them published on the 'Letters Page' over the past three years or so.
