My husband does his own thing so dosent want to go on an art holiday so I went on my own on the art safari one . I met a friend on the Algarve holiday, but it had a mixture of couples and singles . Because of the very nature of the the holiday people immediately have their art in common . I found both of them very well organised and good value . The Algarve hol I went on was with Roger Dellar and not only is he an excellent artist but a nice man. I have done several Art Safaris with Mary Anne Bartlett in Africa and these are amazing experiences ,some of the people I met on these hols I still , ten years later have as friends and have gone on other holidays with them. Art Safari also do hols in this country and in Europe so lots ofchoice. Don't be put off by being on your own it really isn't relevant. Oh ....I really am not on commission . Just stuff I have done . There are lots of these holidays on the market but both of these I can happily recommend to you.
